My artist story began with a remarkable feat: my parents recall that I was already drawing stick figures by the time I reached 18 months old. It's as if I instinctively knew that my path lay in the world of art, setting me on a journey that has lasted a lifetime. Since those early days, I've been captivated by the enchanting world of artistic expression, continuously exploring its depths and expanding my creative horizons.
Primarily self-taught, I've spent years refining my skills, driven by an insatiable passion for art. However, I also recognized the value of formal education, which led me to pursue studies in art and graphic design at Wake Tech Community College. This academic journey provided a solid foundation while allowing my imagination to soar unchecked.
Among all the various art forms, I find myself easily engrossed in logo and character design. There's an indescribable thrill in infusing life and personality into a brand or a fictional character through my artistic touch. With a meticulous eye for detail, I find immense satisfaction in meticulously refining every stroke and contour, ensuring that each creation tells a unique and compelling story.
In addition to my love for design, I've developed a strong proficiency in photo editing and manipulation. I revel in the process of experimenting with visuals, weaving together disparate elements to create captivating and surreal compositions that spark the viewer's imagination. While my personal artwork often leans towards the whimsical, my work in graphic design tends to embrace a more modern and visually striking aesthetic. I find immense joy in crafting designs that leave a lasting impression, whether it's through vibrant colors or sleek, minimalist forms.
Outside of my personal artistic pursuits, I also contribute my skills as a graphic design to The Other Edge design studio in Raleigh, NC. Collaborating with fellow creatives and bringing clients' visions to life is a deeply fulfilling aspect of my professional journey.
